Foundation of Canadian Artists The Foundation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is delighted to announce filmmaker Sunder Chadda as the winner of this year's FCA Achievement Award. You are invited to attend a banquet celebrating Mr. Chadda's work on Friday, 19 July, at 6:30 p.M., at the Irving Hotel in Toronto. Mr. Chadda's documentaries have entertained and educated audiences for the past decade. The award-winning documentary Flight follows the migration of Canadian geese, with footage gathered near Mr. Chadda's hometown of Edmonton all the way to Santa Fe, New Mexico in the U.S. Pushed Out explores the effect of urbanization on the habitats of wolves. Mr. Chadda said that he made this film to emphasize how tough it is for these creatures to adapt to changes in their environment. Two Little Cubs centers on a polar bear raising her cubs. The film includes an interview with Helen Ortiz, a professor at Damon University. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at www.fcartists.ca/events on or before 16 July. Admission includes a four-course dinner followed by entertainment featuring Josefina Adams.
