I know that it can be a struggle to keep up with the extra workload it involves. That said, I'd like to remind you that our employee handbook strictly prohibits working more than 40 hours per week without getting approval from a supervisor beforehand. We're legally required to pay you at a higher rate for any overtime hours, and as a nonprofit organization, we don't have the resources to cover extra expenses in this area. If you're unable to complete an assignment within your regular hours, you must leave it to your supervisor to decide whether to allow overtime work or to push the deadline back.
